The Rafiki Thabo Foundation is a small charity operating primarily in the Taita-Taveta region of Kenya, the Teyateyaneng area of Lesotho and South West Uganda. We support projects that fall under the broad categories of educational, medical assistance and community initiatives.
The Rafiki Thabo Foundation is a partnership charity with focus on the local and personal and has had direct and personal contacts with all community groups since 2000. It light of this, the charity was named, Rafiki Thabo meaning friendship and happiness in Swahili. We know where the money we raise is spent and which projects are directly benefiting. All projects are initiated and managed by experienced members of the communities in Africa. This level of contact ensures that every penny donated to the Rafiki Thabo Foundation is spent effectively.
