A generous donation from the Mansfield Rotary Club has enabled Fusi School in Lesotho to divert spring water from a nearby mountain and dig a pond for it to go into. This will provide water for the school when the well runs dry – as it often does. The pond is also being stocked with fish. This will provide extra nutrition and variety in the school meals and will also be an additional source of income for the school.
We are constantly amazed by the Headmaster’s initiative and drive to make the school self-sustaining. He is determined to keep the school fees as low as possible to enable as many children as possible to complete their secondary education.
